Food: important for survival and important for pleasure!

However, our complex relationship with food and the increased availability of processed products, lead many of us to crave foods which instead of making us stronger and healthier, can lead to many health issues including low energy, digestive problems, autoimmune diseases, food intolerances, hormone imbalances, allergies and if we are not careful, chronic diseases.

Making healthy food choices can be a challenge; firstly, we are bombarded with advertising and marketing strategies from food companies that promise us quick meal solutions which are easy to fit into our increasingly busy lives but are often low in nutrients. Secondly, there has been an explosion of nutrition advice on the internet with daily announcements of the latest "superfood" or scaremongering stories which claim certain foods will cause severe illness. How do we separate fact from fiction? How can we ensure we are making the right choices for our health and for our families?

This is where I can help; as a qualified Nutritional Therapist I can guide you through the misleading advice and the marketing strategies and together we can create an individualised dietary and lifestyle plan to support you on your journey to optimum health.
